1. The Struck Anvil website

The Struck Anvil website (struckanvil.com) is a static marketing site. It does not require an account and does not intentionally use advertising trackers, marketing cookies, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party analytics.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may retain ordinary server logs (such as IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamps) needed to operate and secure the site.

Clicking external links takes you to another site or service under its own privacy practices, for example the Mac App Store or Smart Candle Lab.

If you email us, the message travels through your email provider and ours. Include only what you are comfortable sending.

2. Individual products

Each Struck Anvil product may have its own privacy behavior. Do not assume that one product’s design applies to every future app. Product-specific notes appear below when available.

3. Caption Comet

Caption Comet is designed to process media locally on your Mac without requiring an account. The product privacy policy for App Store links is at struckanvil.com/caption-comet/privacy/.

• Local media processing. Caption Comet processes media locally on your Mac. It does not upload videos, audio, subtitles, or project files to Caption Comet servers.
• No account or telemetry. Caption Comet does not require an account and does not include telemetry or analytics.
• Personal information. Caption Comet does not collect personal information and therefore cannot sell it.
• Purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. Caption Comet does not receive your payment card information.
